INTERIM COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO CITY JOB

In his weekly press conference, Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson  explained why he intends to hire Interim County Administrator Amy Lovoy as the city’s next deputy chief financial officer. Lovoy turned in her resignation with Escambia County on April 15th. after news broke about allegations surrounding the county’s Public Safety and Emergency Management Service departments. The Mayor said City Administrator Chris Holley asked Lovoy a week before she resigned if she would be interested in working at the city as deputy chief financial officer. Lovoy applied for the position two days after she resigned from the county and  Robinson said he believes Lovoy would be the best person for the job.
