A wild fire in South Walton County is said to be about 90 percent contained. Firefighters were dispatched to a four-acre fire on Monday afternoon between Goldsby and Mack Bayou Roads. The Florida Forest Service said the fire grew to an estimated 100 acres by the afternoon and 25 homes were evacuated. The Forest Service says fire breaks are being cut to assist with the containment and residents may see smoke and flames within the area and drivers should use caution because of smoke.
