The Florida Supreme Court of Florida has suspended a Pensacola attorney for one year for failing to diligently represent or communicate with his client. The suspension of Eugene Polk, is effective 30 days from a March 28th court order. Polk was appointed to represent his client on a criminal appeal in 2015, but missed multiple filing deadlines. Polk closed his practice in 2017 and is pursuing a second career as a commercial pilot in Vero Beach.
