A 27-year-old woman has been charged with child neglect after leaving her three young children unattended in a car Friday night in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree store at 8992 Pensacola Boulevard. A 6-year-old, a 4-year-old and a 3-year-old were alone in the car and the 6-year-old managed to back the vehicle from its parking space, then drove it forward hitting another car before hitting a tree. No one was injured and property damage was minimal. Cassady Ellis was booked into the Escambia County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
