The Florida Highway Patrol says a 25-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run in Walton County yesterday morning on Highway 331 in Freeport. Troopers say Jacob Dixon was standing in the road when he was hit by a dark red Honda sedan around 4:45am. The driver didn’t stop and Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene. The car should have front-end damage to its grill, bumper, and at least one of its headlights.
