ESCAPED FUGITIVE RECAPTURED

A 27-year-old man who escaped custody after being arrested and handcuffed Friday, has been recaptured. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office, the Panama City Police Department and the US Marshals Office had federal fugitive Devar San Jacus Donaldson back in custody less than 12 hours after the handcuffed man fled in Panama City from the area of Foxwood Apartments. He was located and apprehended with the assistance of a Panama City Police K-9 and handler. No other information has been released on what charges Donaldson originally faced or is now facing.
