WALTON COUNTY NATURAL GAS LEAK

Firefighters from the South Walton Fire District say a 4-inch natural gas line was ruptured during a construction project in Miramar Beach in the Scenic Gulf Drive area between Poincianna Boulevard and Miramar Beach Drive. The area was secured as a precaution and traffic was blocked for a time. Okaloosa Gas crews were sent to repair the leak. There were no reports of any injuries or fire.
