The Walton County Sheriff’s Department says deputies recovered 22 guns and other stolen property while executing a search warrant at a home off Davis Drive north of DeFuniak Springs. Firearms recovered included AR-10s and a Thompson submachine gun. The guns were stolen in Covington County, Alabama, from a gun safe that was opened with a cutting torch. 34-year-old Hunter Brown, is being sought and was last seen driving a 2012 Ford F-250 pickup truck with Florida tag BAD-A14. Julie Brown, Hunter’s sister who lives on the property, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
