The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a 30-year-old science teacher at Sims Middle School in Pace has been arrested for sending inappropriate text messages to a student. Christopher Johnson was charged with obscene communication using a computer to seduce solicit or lure a child Johnson was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Santa Rosa Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick said Johnson has been placed on administrative leave until the charges are resolved or action is taken by the school board.
