The Florida Highway Patrol says a 56-year-old Pensacola man died late Friday night after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Scenic Highway. Troopers say Glenn Burnett, was walking north in the south lane of Scenic Highway around 11:30 Friday night, when he was hit by a car driven by 42-year-old Lenora Gomez. Burnett was declared dead at the scene. No report of any charges being filed.
