The State Attorney’s Office says a 36-year-old Pensacola woman has been sentenced to 12-months of probation after pleading no contest to a charge that she lied when she said she saw a deputy shoot her son in the arm. Sheekina Williams’ son, Antonio Smith, was shot in the arm by a deputy in November of 2018. Investigators say Smith had been trying to run over a deputy who was trying to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Williams claimed in interviews with FDLE agents that she was standing on the front porch of a residence and witnessed the shooting, but video obtained from the scene showed Williams was not where she claimed to be and did not witness the shooting.
