The Florida Highway Patrol said two motorcyclists were critically injured in a crash Tuesday evening on Highway 29 near McDavid in North Escambia County. Troopers said  49-year old Susan Nichols from Century, was on a moped traveling north on Highway 29 at Whirlpool Road just after 7pm when she changed lanes and collided with a northbound Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 45-year old James Cooko. Both bikers were airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in separate medical helicopters.
