LOW-SPEED DOWNTOWN PENSACOLA CAR CHASE

Pensacola Police say a man was arrested after a brief car chase in downtown Pensacola yesterday afternoon. Department spokesman Mike Wood said the suspect would not stop after committing a traffic violation around 1pm and drove along at about 10 or 15 miles per hour, stopping at stop signs, using turn signals, and going in circles in the area of Pace and Garden. He was eventually stopped and arrested on South “M” Street and it was discovered he also had outstanding warrants.
