The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a 44-yar-old man was arrested in Crestview after he entered a home and threw firecrackers under a bed where a 9-year-old girl was sleeping. Deputies say Matthew Morrison sneaked into a residence on Godfrey Street, where he threw the firecrackers saying it was a prank gone wrong. The homeowner chased Morrison out of the home with a stick, and Morrison was arrested. Deputies also found 2 grams of methamphetamine in his pocket.
