The effort to give Okaloosa County voters the opportunity to decide if they want to elect or appoint a school superintendent may be delayed. At the School Board meeting members Tim Bryant and Diane Kelley blocked a motion by Board member Linda Evanchyk to place discussion of the issue on the agenda for the board’s next meeting. Evanchyk said she made a procedural error by making a motion for discussion and will probably take the necessary steps to have the referendum discussed at the School Board’s next meeting.
