A former principal of a local charter school in Bay County has filed a lawsuit against the school saying she sexually harassed by being  touched and groped. Jamie Vickers is the former principal of Bay Haven Charter Academy and said CEO Larry Bolinger sexually harassed her, then retaliated against her complaints with reprimands and a demotion.  Vickers filed a federal charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and said she was offered a $40,000 severance agreement to quit and was shifted from her job as principal and given frivolous, demeaning assignments. The lawsuit asks for a trial by jury and that Vickers be awarded general and compensatory damages, as well as damages for economic loss.
