PENSACOLA GUN VIOLENCE

Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson is asking the federal government for help in reducing gun violence in the city. Last week, the Mayor, City Administrator Chris Holley and Pensacola Police Chief Tommi Lyter sent a letter to U.S. Attorney Lawrence Keefe asking for help. has agreed to help by forming a joint task force. Keefe has agreed to help by forming a joint task force and is discussing the problem with several Department of Justice agencies including the U.S. Marshals Services, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the FBI.
