BOND SET FOR MYRTLE GROVE STORE SHOOTER

A bond of 2 million dollars has been set for the suspect who was shot by Escambia County deputies Thursday at an Escambia County grocery store after he fired shots inside the store. 29-year-old Reginald Booker remains in Baptist Hospital where he underwent surgery due for the gunshot wounds. Investigators say Booker walked into the Grocery Advantage on Lillian Highway at New Warrington Road with a handgun and started shooting. Responding deputies cornered him in a warehouse area and shot him when he threatened them with the gun. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.
