While the Florida Bar found no probable cause that a tweet by U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz to Michael Cohen earlier this year violated the bar’s rules of conduct, the grievance committee said the tweet was unprofessional, reckless, insensitive, and demonstrated poor judgment. Gaetz told the News Journal in a text message Saturday that he crossed the line, walked it back, and apologized. Gaetz deleted the tweet and publicly apologized to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and also apologized to Cohen.
