PENSACOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT SAFE SPOT

Online buyers who want to connect with sellers now have a safe spot where they can meet those sellers: the lobby of the Pensacola Police Department at 711 North Hayne Street. Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson said the city worked with the police department and the lobby has now been designated as an internet purchase exchange location that will be a safe, secure place, 24 hours a day. Police Chief Tommi Lyter said this is one more example of how the Police Department can team up with the community to help prevent crime.
