TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE CUTS

As a result of President Trump diverting 3.6 billion dollars from the U.S. military’s budget to fund the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, Tyndall Air Force Base will have 17 million dollars cut that was meant to fund a new fire rescue and crash response station for the base. The  administration’s transfer of money from defense projects to pay for the border wall has drawn criticism in Congress, but both Florida Senators are standing behind the president’s proposal as are Congressmen Matt Gaetz as well as Neal Dunn in whose district Tyndall is located.
