PUBLIC COLLEGE RANKINGS

The annual U.S. News & World Report rankings of public colleges has Florida State University making the Top 20 for the first time. The University of Florida moved up a spot to tie for number 7. For FSU, which includes its Panama City campus, the No. 18 ranking represents an eight-spot jump from last year, the biggest one-year gain to date. In 2016 FSU was ranked 43^rd.
