More than 2 million passengers went through Pensacola International Airport in the last fiscal year, the most ever. City Administrator Chris Holley said 2,018,000 passengers have passed through the airport’s gates since October 2018. Dan Flynn, airport director, said there have been four straight months of 200,000 passengers, Demographic data for shows that 47% of passengers are business travelers, 46% are tourists and the remaining 7% are military travelers. He also said the airport is looking into expanding ramp space around the terminal building to add more aircraft parking.
