Milton Police say a man was shot and killed by police officers yesterday morning after he stole a dump truck in Milton and then rammed a Milton police patrol car and a Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office patrol car. Chief Tony Tindell said the dump truck was stolen from The Other Place gas station on Dogwood Drive in Milton just after 5am. The suspect fled from police, west on Highway 90, turned onto the Pensacola State College campus, then rammed the police cars. An officer opened fire and the suspect, whose name has not been released, was shot and killed. No officers were injured and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.
