Local vaping retailers met with Congressman Matt Gaetz’s staff to try and stop a ban on flavored vaping products. They met at the Congressman’s office behind closed doors for nearly an hour hoping to convince Gaetz’s team of the benefits of flavored products and take their message to Washington. President Trump and some lawmakers want to ban the products because of concerns that young people are being enticed to vape. The Center of Disease Control and Prevention is investigating more than 450 cases of vaping-related illnesses and at least seven deaths reported in recent weeks.
