NURSING ASSISTANT ARRESTED

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department says a 27-year-old certified nursing assistant in Gulf Breeze has been charged with abusing an elderly man at Bay Breeze Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center. It happened on August 10^th and Kayla Oeth is facing felony charges after   the victim’s arms were bloodied and bruised from his wrists to his elbows. Oeth claims the victim’s injuries were sustained as she was trying to help him into bed and that he fought with her and spit in her face. Justin Gibson, an administrator at Bay Breeze Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center, said Oeth no longer works at the facility.
