As expected, Florida gas prices surged an average of 10 cents a gallon last week after attacks on Saudi Arabian oil production facilities. Florida drivers are now paying an average price of $2.50 per gallon. Despite last week’s increase, the state average still is 30 cents per gallon less than this year’s highest daily price, which was back in April.
