MISSING MOTHER AND CHILDREN FOUND SAFE

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a mother and four children were found after they were reported missing on Sunday. Marcella Black of Crestview told deputies she and the children went swimming and then went for a walk on Sherman Kennedy Road north of Baker, but got lost in the woods. They were finally spotted around 11:30 a.m. on a sand bar along the Blackwater River by a helicopter crew from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. Although hungry and tired, they did not require medical attention.
