Pensacola Police say the investigation into a weekend shooting is continuing after a man who was initially questioned was ruled out as a suspect. The shooting happened around 2:45am Saturday near the intersection of Jefferson and Government streets where a man was shot in the hip. The victim told police he did not think he was the target of the shooting, but was hit by a stray bullet. He said he started running after a fight broke out and he heard gunshots and realized he had been wounded.
