GULFVIEW HOTEL PROJECT RECEIVES AWARD

The project to relocate the historic Gulfview Hotel in Fort Walton Beach is receiving an award from the Florida Development Association. It is the President’s award for an Outstanding Rehabilitation Renovation or Reuse Project and recognizes the best in redevelopment statewide. The hotel is the oldest remaining building in the City of Fort Walton Beach, and was recently moved to a new location and renovated. It is currently being used as a visitor’s center, gift shop and commercial office space.
