A 37-year-old Milton man has been indicted for the 2015 murder of his roommate. On March 26th, 2015, Stephen Rice was found dead of a gunshot wound in the head at his residence on Persimmon Hollow Road in Santa Rosa County. Assistant State Attorney Paul Gillespie said the facts of the case demonstrate the murder was committed in cold blood and that Palmer shot his roommate in the head while he was lying on the couch. Palmer will be arraigned on October 3rd.
