EGLIN AFB NIGHTTIME TRAINING FLIGHTS

The Air Force says over the next several weeks residents on Eglin Air Force Base and surrounding areas may hear aircraft noises at night as   F-22’s from the 43rd Fighter Squadron conduct nightly flying training operations. Aircraft will take off between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and will return at 10:30 p.m. Eglin says if winds are favorable, they will use runways that will minimize the noise.
