BAY COUNTY TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol says a man from Central Florida was killed in a traffic crash in Bay County on Friday near the intersection of Lucy Lane and State Road 77.  Troopers say 63-year-old Jose Rivera, was northbound on State Road 77 when he sideswiped a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Weyman Wheeler, and overturned. Rivera was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Wheeler was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
