The Florida Wildlife Commission says two black bears were killed in two separate accidents yesterday morning. The first happened around 5 a.m. on Highway 87 at Gordon Evans Road and resulted in the death of a 480-pound male bear. Then around 7:30 am, a 40-pound male cub was struck and killed near Highway 87 and Choctaw Airfield Road about  three miles from the first accident.
