Escambia County officials say part of the Escambia County Jail had the water temporarily shut off because of a clogged drain. Water was shut off on Tuesday night so the clog could be located and cleared. Water service to the affected area was restored around 1 a.m. Coolers of drinking water were provided white the water was turned off.
