Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered that flags be flown at half-staff in honor of Escambia County Fire Rescue Volunteer District Chief Dwain Bradshaw. Bradshaw was killed last week after being struck by a semi-truck while responding to another fatal traffic crash. The governor ordered that the U.S. and Florida flags be flown at half-staff at the two fire stations where Bradshaw served, as well as at the Escambia County Courthouse, Pensacola City Hall and the state Capitol. Bradshaw was laid to rest yesterday at Pensacola Memorial Gardens after a funeral service at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
