WOMEN CHARGED WITH METH AFTER HIGH-SPEED CHASE

Two Walton County women have been arrested after leading law enforcement officers on a pursuit that started in Florida and ended in Alabama. It began near the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office substation on Highway 90 in Ponce de Leon and ended on State Road 87 in Geneva County, Alabama. 30-year-old Victoria Duncan was the driver and her passenger was 34-year-old Chandra Victoria Goodman, both of DeFuniak Springs. Duncan reached speeds of more than 100 mph  before the chase ended in Geneva County Alabama when she collided with deputy’s patrol car. Duncan and Goodman were taken into custody, and methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes, glass pipes, and scales were seized. Both had active warrants out of Holmes County for violation of probation.
