The Federal Court building in downtown Pensacola was evacuated yesterday afternoon after a white powder was found inside an envelope that was mailed to the courthouse. The Pensacola Fire Department was dispatched to the courthouse about 2:30 pm and the building was evacuated. The Escambia County Hazmat team was on scene and prepared to enter the building. The U.S Marshals and FBI are investigating to find who the sender of the envelope was and the Pensacola Police Department is also investigating.
