The Pensacola Humane Society operates a Pet Pantry that provides food to pet owners who need temporary help. But the Pantry is running short of food due to higher than expected demand. The society can accept any brand of dog or cat food, both wet and dry varieties, as well as cat litter and donations may be dropped off at 5 North “Q” Street in Pensacola, Tuesday through Saturday between noon and 5:00 p.m. or Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pet owners who need food can request it by coming to the society, but identification is required.
