A former player with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos player was found dead in his hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand, yesterday. Ryan Costello played 40-games with the Blue Wahoos and hit 7 home runs. He arrived in New Zealand last week to play his first season with a team in Auckland. Ryan split the 2019 season between Single-A Ft. Myers and Double-A Pensacola, and was traded to the Twins in July of 2018. Preliminary indications are that Costello died of natural causes. He was 23.
