The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that the Pensacola Beach toll plaza may only accept electronic payments by next year. Escambia County Commissioner Robert Bender said he will likely present a proposal at the December 5th meeting asking Commissioners to vote to go cashless and to send out a request for proposals for new signs and road markings to let drivers know the toll plaza only accepts electronic payments.
