The Fort Walton Beach Fire Department responded to a fire that badly damaged a home at 101 Magnolia Avenue yesterday. Battalion Chief David Stone said the owner was having lunch with friends at a local restaurant around 1:30pm when he got a call that his house was on fire. He told fire officials that for the past several weeks he had been having problems with a circuit breaker popping. The house was heavily damaged, but no one was injured and the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
