Walton County Fire Rescue says a three-story home in DeFuniak Springs caught fire early Saturday morning. Walton County Fire Rescue, DeFuniak Springs Fire Department, Argyle Volunteer Fire Department, Liberty Volunteer Fire Department, and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded around 4:30 a.m. to the home on Corbin Gainey Road. The structure was heavily damaged, but there were no residents inside at the time of the fire. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating to determine the cause.
