Health department officials are urging people to get vaccinated against the flu. Heather Kretzer, Public Information Officer at Florida Department of Health, says that although this flu season has been relatively mild so far, the percentage of people with flu-symptoms visiting emergency rooms statewide has increased by about 3 percent over last year. The season peaks in February.
