The man involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Cervantes Street last year that killed a woman and a baby has been sentenced. 27-year-old Markquise Wallace was sentenced to 65 years in state prison by Circuit Court Judge Lacey Powell Clark, the maximum possible sentence. On June 6th, 2018, Wallace struck the two adults and a baby, then fled the scene. He was apprehended on July 24th in Philadelphia by U.S. Marshals and returned to Pensacola.
