The Florida Department of Transportation says all four lanes between Interstate 10 and Navy Federal Way will open to traffic tomorrow – weather permitting. However, continued work farther west on Nine Mile Road will require westbound cars in the outside lane to turn right at Navy Federal Way. That work will include reconstructing the existing westbound roadway and building a box culvert for stormwater into Eleven Mile Creek and will take another year. FDOT has been working to widen Nine Mile Road since 2016.
