The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a hotel clerk got into a fight with a person accused of causing a disturbance at a Warrington hotel and shot the person. It happened around 4:30 yesterday morning at the Quality Inn at New Warrington Road. The shooting victim was taken to a hospital. A sheriff’s office spokesperson says the incident may fall under the “Stand Your Ground” law.
