The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the robbery of a Nine Mile Road bank around 10:30 yesterday morning. A man walked into Synovus Bank at Nine Mile Road and University Parkway and gave the teller a note demanding money, then left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office or call Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP.
