FORT WALTON BEACH MURDER INDICTMENTS

The State Attorney’s Office says two Pensacola residents have been indicted by an Okaloosa County Grand Jury for the November murder of a Fort Walton Beach man. 24-year-old Jordan Phillips, and 27-year-old and Carissa Lynn Parker, are charged in the death of Edgar Jennings III who was shot at his home on Culp Avenue. Jennings was the father of her child and Parker admitted picking up Phillips at his Pensacola home and driving him around to sell narcotics. Phillips told her to drive to Jennings’ home where Phillips went inside carrying a handgun. She said she heard gunshots and Phillips returned to the car and they drove back to Pensacola. Phillips and Parker are being held without bond in the Okaloosa County Jail.
