The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says a 54-year-man has been arrested for physically abusing his disabled wife. The victim – who is wheelchair-bound after being paralyzed from the chest down following a vehicle accident in 2016 – told deputies her husband – Cary Williams III – became angry because she would not give him money out of their account that had been set aside for their house payment and threatened to punch her. She also said that he had grabbed the back of her wheelchair a week ago and shoved it to the side. Williams told investigators that she runs over his foot with her wheelchair. Williams was charged with felony abuse of a disabled adult and domestic battery.
